Which new Subaru Models have Turbocharged Engines?

A post shared by Subaru of America (@subaru_usa) on

The Subaru WRX has long been recognized both among Subaru fans and the car community at large here in the Edwards, CA area for its impressive performance capability and its reliable, practical nature. This Subaru model continues to provide Lancaster, CA area drivers with athletic handling and plenty of traction thanks to standard symmetrical all-wheel-drive. But did you know that the WRX is not the only Subaru model that comes with an available turbocharged engine?

Other Subaru Models with Turbos

The Subaru Forester, when equipped in 2.0 XT trim, offers a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that provides 250-horsepower. The Forester 2.0 XT Touring, a higher version of the 2.0 XT trim, also includes this same turbocharged engine.

Need more space than a Subaru Forester can offer you? The new Subaru Ascent three-row midsize crossover SUV has it! What's more, the Ascent also comes with a turbo engine - not just optional, but standard! The Ascent, which earns up to an EPA-estimated 27 mpg on the highway, features a standard 260-horsepower that makes every drive more entertaining.

Non Turbo Engine Options

A turbocharged engine isn't the only way to amp up your power when shopping for a new Subaru. Though some Subaru models - the Impreza, Crosstrek, and BRZ - come in four-cylinder only configurations, the Subaru Outback wagon and Legacy sedan offer more power via more traditional means - a 3.6-liter H6 engine.
