All-New 2020 Subaru Outback: Here's What to Know About the Redesigned SUV

Subaru is in the midst of refreshing its model lineup, and the latest model to get a redesign is the Outback. The 2020 Outback promises new looks, updated performance, and more. Drivers all around Santa Clarita and Edwards, CA are sure to be excited about this new model.

It's completely new inside and out. Subaru has taken the time to completely redesign the 2020 Outback. It's easy to tell from the outside, where styling has taken a turn toward a sleeker overall look. There's a fresh look on the inside as well with a new focus on premium appeal.

It's based on the same new platform as the Legacy. Subaru announced its new Legacy model earlier this year along with an all-new global platform. The new Outback will also ride on the new platform. This architecture offers better rigidity and improved handling over previous models.

It offers enhanced capability: The 2020 Outback is ready to hit the trails near Palmdale and Rosamond with 8.7 inches of ground clearance, symmetrical all-wheel drive, and available X-MODE. It also offers more punch on pavement with the available turbocharged 2.4-liter BOXER engine offering 260 horsepower.

EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology comes standard. Subaru's driver assistance technology suite is a potent collection of features, and it comes standard in the 2020 Outback. That means features like Adaptive Cruise Control, automatic Pre-Collision Braking, and more are standard for every trim level.

The 2020 Outback will be available at Subaru Antelope Valley in Lancaster, CA later this year. In the meantime, we welcome you to visit us for a test drive in current 2019 models or to learn more about the 2020 Outback.
