When Does The 2020 Subaru Outback Come Out?

Subaru Outback fans across Lancaster, CA have been eager to get behind the wheel of the all-new 2020 Subaru Outback since Subaru first unveiled the Outback back in April. So when is the new Outback expected to hit the road and what new features does it have to offer?

A bold new look isn't the only that the 2020 Outback has to offer Santa Clarita. The new Outback is more powerful, more fuel-efficient, more capable, more spacious, safer, and comes standard with even more features than ever before. There are 7 well-equipped trim levels of the 2020 Outback to choose from; three of which are turbo models. The new 2.4L turbocharged BOXER engine powering the XT models generates 260 horsepower and can tow up to 3,500 lbs. While the other trim levels are powered by a new 2.5L four-cylinder BOXER with Auto Start-Stop technology to get up to 33 highway mpg. and now generates 182 horsepower. The new Outback Onyx Edition XT raises the bar for capability with dual-function X-Mode with Hill Descent Control and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The dual-function X-Mode has settings for snow, dirt, and mud to specifically tailor performance.

The Outback has always been a leader in its class when it comes to safety and the 2020 Outback is no exception with the latest version of EyeSight Driver Assist Technology standard and available Subaru DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation. Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering is the newest addition to EyeSight Driver Assist Technology that also includes, Lane Keep Assist, Pre-Collision Braking, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Lane Departure and Sway Warning.

There is also more interior space, more maximum cargo space, and more tech features in the 2020 Outback. Rosamond drivers will now have 109 cubic feet of passenger volume and a maximum cargo area of 75.7 cubic feet for bigger adventures. The standard roof rails with integrated crossbars and enhanced tie downs offer addition cargo carrying abilities. The 2020 Outback is also boasting a new 11.6-inch STARLINK multimedia system with available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
